Armed forces of the Crown

The Armed forces of the Crown (excluding the special forces and those formally assisting GCHQ) are subject to the Freedom of Information Act as they are referred to in Schedule I. The armed forces of the Crown consist of:

• British Army
• Royal Air Force (RAF)
• Royal Navy
• Royal Marines
