Waste disposal authority

FOIA Schedule I includes:

15 - A waste disposal authority established by virtue of an order under section 10(1) of the Local Government Act 1985.

The only relevant order is the Waste Regulation and Disposal (Authorities) Order 1985 (SI 1985/1884), which established:

• West London Waste Authority
• North London Waste Authority
• East London Waste Authority
• Western Riverside Waste Authority
• Greater Manchester Waste Disposal Authority
• Merseyside Waste Disposal Authority
