That section established a probation board for each police area in England and Wales, and one for London.  They were all abolished by section 11 of the {{ukpga|2007|21}}, which was extended to the whole of England and Wales by {{uksi|2010|191}} on 1st April 2010.

FOIA Schedule I includes in part VI:

A local probation board established under section 4 of the Criminal Justice and Court Services Act 2000

That section established a probation board for each police area in England and Wales, and one for London. They were all abolished by section 11 of the Offender Management Act 2007, which was extended to the whole of England and Wales by SI 2010/191 on 1st April 2010.
