In Jersey, a [http://www.statesassembly.gov.je/documents/propositions/13704-37486-1532011.pdf draft Freedom of Information Law] was introduced in 2011.  According to the [http://www.gov.je/Government/Pages/StatesReports.aspx?ReportID=576 implementation plan] it is likely to be approved and should be fully in force by 2015.

Jersey currently has a Code of Practice on Access to Information.

The Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 provides a general right to obtain information held by public authorities subject to certain exemptions.
