For the purpose of complying with {{ukpga|2000|36}} and the {{uksi|2004|3391|Environmental Information Regulations 2004}}: “working day” means any day other than a Saturday, a Sunday, Christmas Day, Good Friday or a day which is a bank holiday under the {{ukpga|1971|80|Banking and Financial Dealings Act 1971}} in any part of the United Kingdom. For the purposes of the {{asp|2002|13}} and the {{ssi|2004|520|Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004}}, “working day” means any day other than a Saturday, a Sunday, Christmas Day or a day which, under the {{ukpga|1971|80|Banking and Financial Dealings Act 1971 (c.80)}}, is a bank holiday in Scotland.

==North/South bodies==

The [[North/South Bodies Freedom of Information Code of Practice]] defines “working day” to mean any day other than a Saturday, a Sunday, or a public/bank holiday observed by the Body in receipt of the request for information.

==Jersey==

For the purposes of the [[Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011]], a “working day” means a day other than a Saturday, a Sunday, Christmas Day, or Good Friday; or a day that is a bank holiday or a public holiday under the [[Public Holidays and Bank Holidays (Jersey) Law 1951]].
